Terms of Service

Welcome to MacroLattice (the “Add-on”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MacroLattice add-on for Google Sheets. By installing, accessing, or using the Add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Add-on.

1. Description of the service
MacroLattice is a software add-on that runs within Google Sheets and lets you log foods, track calories and macronutrients, and review your nutrition over time. The Add-on stores the information you enter in the spreadsheet you are using.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Add-on only if you are legally able to form a binding contract and are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). If you are using the Add-on on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Your account & Google access
The Add-on operates through your Google Account and Google Sheets. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Account and for all activity that occurs under it. You authorize the Add-on to access the limited Google services described in our Privacy Policy, and you may revoke that access at any time from your Google Account settings.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Add-on for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source of the Add-on except as permitted by law;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Add-on or the Google services it relies on;
- Use the Add-on in a manner that violates Google’s terms of service or acceptable use policies.
5. Your data & responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you enter into your spreadsheet. The Add-on stores your data in your own Google Sheet; it is your responsibility to back up that spreadsheet and to manage who can access it. You retain all rights to the data you enter.
6. Intellectual property
The Add-on, including its name, logo, and software, is provided to you under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it as set out in these Terms. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Add-on. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Add-on is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Add-on will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations (such as calorie or macronutrient values) will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall MacroLattice be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Add-on. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Add-on is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us to use the Add-on.

10. Termination
You may stop using the Add-on at any time, and you can remove its access from your Google Account whenever you wish. We may suspend or discontinue the Add-on, or modify it, at any time and without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such suspension or discontinuation.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Add-on after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Add-on shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the place where the operator resides.
